White Phoenix Shimmer

Whelp, I watched "Friendship Games" and loved it. And when I saw that fights scene at the end, this was what popped into my head.

So introducing Sunset Shimmer, empowered by the legendary Phoenix Force.

This was a lot of fun to do, got play around with some tools on my drawing app.

Of course, I did do one for Twilight, or should I say, Midnight Sparke.

Watched "Legend of Everfree" and . I mean, c'mon, Sunset's magical power makes her a telepath and an empath, that was just perfect for me!

And again, it got my creative juices flowin'. I started working on these Five a few months before the fourth movie, but waited until after the movie to see if there was going to be anything I could incorporate, and boy did they deliver. So, you knew this was coming folks, introducing, THE PHOENIX FIVE.

BACKSTORY (of sorts):

Sunset, after achieving the power of the Phoenix Force, feared that the god-like power would make her become her old self again, driven by a lust for power, and a growing dread of becoming an even worse demon than she was with the Element of Magic. So to prevent this, Sunset Shimmer called upon her friends, asking them to each take a piece of the Phoenix Force to lessen her own power and to keep the almighty cosmic entity under control.

Needless to say , AJ, Rainbow, Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Rarity were a bit apprehensive, knowing how powerful the Phoenix Force was through Sunset. They were just getting used to their own new magic. Adding this on top of that? Who knew what could happen.

However, they knew that Sunset feared herself returning to her former self, and given all she went through to win the trust of the students and faculty, none of them wanted to see that all destroyed because they feared the power. So, after a sappy speech about being a team, and that their friendship would carry them through, Sunset bestowed upon the a piece of the Phoenix Force!
